Matt begins by introducing the Canon C200, explaining its key features and capabilities. We look at what is included with the camera as well as what you’ll need to add to get up and running, before finishing with a comparison to both the less expensive C100 Mk II and the more expensive C300 Mk II.

Now that we’re familiar with the external controls of the C200 Matt steps us through the menu system - what each option does and how to best configure the settings.

In this lesson Matt showcases some of the C200’s biggest features, starting with its unique Dual Pixel Auto Focus system. We then look at high-speed/slow-motion shooting on the camera with some example footage, before ending with a look at the wifi remote control functionality.

We move to 4K for this chapter to showcase the C200’s footage across a variety of frame rates, codecs and picture profiles, including the Canon Cinema RAW Light format.

In this chapter Matt takes a look at the C200’s performance in low light across its various picture profiles and noise reduction settings, and then compares it to the C100 Mk II and its bigger brother, the C300 MkII.
